Bikini style undergarment dyed with madder, a perennial root in the coffee family. Simple and sophisticated, with narrow sides and higher cuts, the bikini style offers classically flattering comfort and coverage. Cut, dyed, and sewn by hand in Amy's Chicago studio, 95% cotton/5% lycra.
One of the oldest known dye materials, madder roots must grow underground for 3 years before they can be harvested for color. With extreme sensitivity to changes in pH and temperature, Madder yields exquisite coppers, oranges, and reds.
